Cost: $1.8 million Particulars: Blue Grass Savings Bank has been a full-service bank for more than 104 years and is the oldest operating bank in Scott County. The new 7,100-square-foot structure will feature an exterior of brick and Anamosa stone and provide the bank with a basement under half the building. The bank’s interior will include a glassed entrance area and raised ceilings, allowing natural light to illuminate customer-service areas. The site will also feature two drive-up lanes with space provided for a third lane in the future. Construction is due to be completed by December.
