Personal investing: Black Hawk College, Moline, is holding a personal investing course beginning Aug. 21 at the Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline. Two sessions will be offered: 1-2:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 5:30-8:15 p.m. Tuesdays. Students will learn about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, IRAs and money markets. Legal education seminar: “Anatomy of a Tax Court Case,” a legal education seminar, will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Room 302 of the Kahl Educational Center, 326 W. 3rd St., Davenport. The seminar will be broadcast over the Iowa Communications Network.
