TODAY: (Updated 2:05 p.m.) The former executive director of the Quad-City Symphony Orchestra has a new job in the newly created position of president of the RiverCenter/Adler Theatre.
Lance Willett, who announced his retirement earlier this year after 31 years with the symphony, will be in charge of the Adler's relationship to investors, financial institutions and agencies, as well as expanding community outreach and educational partnerships.

Davenport, Iowa – October 8, 2007 – Greg Schermer, Chairman of the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, has announced the appointment of Lance Willett to a newly created position with the Adler Theatre.
Willett will serve as president of the Adler Theatre. This position will involve the coordination of the Theatre’s relationships to its investors, financial institutions and agencies, which provided financing for the Adler Theatre’s recent backstage renovation and stage expansion project. Willett will work with the RiverCenter Adler Theatre management firm, VenuWorks, and the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts Board of Directors to ensure the Adler Theatre’s continued financial success, while expanding community outreach and educational partnerships.
Lance Willett recently retired following a thirty-year career as executive director of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra.
