On Oct. 7, I participated with John Edwards and the United Steelworkers union in a Sunday afternoon canvass.

I joined Edwards and the Steelworkers because we all want to see big changes in our country and I know Edwards is the only candidate with the ideas to make that happen.

More than any other candidate, he has fought to help organized labor in this country by either walking picket lines or negotiating with corporations on behalf of workers. No other candidate has been so dedicated to helping working Americans.

When he’s president, I know Edwards will still fight for us. He’s going to fix our tax code so that we reward work, as opposed to George Bush who would rather reward his wealthy friends.

He’s also going to end all the trade deals that have been written by greedy

corporations and throw working Americans under the bus.

If you’re like me and you want to see real change in Washington, you’ll caucus for Edwards. He’s going to build the One America he talks about and he’ll have more than 1.2 million Steelworkers there to help him.
