RI man charged with sex assault

A Rock Island man is facing felony sex assault charges for alleged incidents last summer with a 7-year-old girl.

James J. Fleck, 28, of 3333 34th St., was charged Thursday in Rock Island County Circuit Court with three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault. He was not in custody as of Thursday, but his bond is set at $250,000.

According to court records, the alleged incidents occurred between June 1 and June 18. The victim also is from Rock Island.
