Deadline today for Career Fair booth, ad signup

The Quad-City Times Career Fair 2008 will be noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Isle of Capri Convention Center, Bettendorf. The deadline for booth reservations and ad space is today. Information is available by calling (563) 383-2222.

Participating employers include AFLAC, Alcoa, American Bank & Trust, Apac Customer Services, Ashford University, Deere & Co., Eastern Iowa Community College District, Group O, Guardian Industries, Individual Advocacy Group, Iowa Army National Guard, Iowa 80 Group,  Iowa Workforce Development,   Manpower, Mediacom, Modern Woodmen of America,

MultiServ, Rock Island Arsenal, Royal Neighbors, Sedona Group, Team Staffing, U.S. Army, Volt Services, Waddell & Reed and Wells Fargo Financial.

A meeting for employers to preview products available through the Times/Lee Enterprises partnership with Yahoo! HotJobs will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Reservations should be made with Jammie Barron at (563) 383-2326. Barron, the Times recruitment specialist, will speak at the  seminar.
