GOP county convention is Saturday

The Scott County Republican Party will hold its county convention Saturday at Davenport West High School, 3505 W. Locust St.

Registration begins at noon and the convention will begin at 1 p.m.

The convention’s business is to elect 140 delegates and 70 alternates to the district and state conventions, create a county platform and elect committee members to the district convention.

A junior delegate session also will be held, led by Iowa Sen. David Hartsuch, R-Bettendorf.
