Davenport church observes Holy Week

First Presbyterian Church, Davenport, will observe Holy Week with these services:

- Palm Sunday, March 16: 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., children and adult and choirs processional with Palms.

- Maundy Thursday, March 20: 6 p.m., Sacrament of Holy Communion.

- Good Friday, March 21: 7:30 p.m., Service of Tenebrae. The Passion and Crucifixion through readings and music. There will be music with choirs and orchestra, and brief preaching on the Seven Last Words of Jesus. 

- Easter Sunday, March 23: 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. Celebration of the Resurrection. Music will be provided by the Cathedral Choir of Young Men and Boys, the Cecelian Carolers, the Celebration Singers, and the Sanctuary Choir. The services will conclude with 100 voices singing the gospel favorite, “He Has the Power.”
