Trinity announces Holy Week services

Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline will hold these Holy Week services: 

- Maundy Thursday, March 20: Noon, Crosswalk Lenten Luncheon and Seder. Lamb stew Seder meal and worship with Holy Communion. Tickets are $5. Call Kay Allen at (309) 799-3838 for reservations. Worship with Holy Communion and meditative singing at 7 p.m. 

- Good Friday, March 21: 7 p.m., Tenebrae service “Behold the Darkness” by Benjamin Harlan. Performed by the Trinity Choirs and Trinity Chamber Orchestra. 

- Easter services: 7:30 a.m., traditional worship with brass and organ; 9 a.m., traditional worship with Trinity Choir and Brass; 11 a.m., contemporary worship with praise ensemble; and 8-10 a.m., Easter breakfast.

In addition, an Easter egg hunt will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. March 22. Decorate egg cartons, listen to and tell Easter stories, have a snack, and hunt for eggs. Egg hunt open to  children up to sixth grade.
