Calvary Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1518 N. Fillmore St., Davenport, will host a roundtable discussion by telephone with a former resident of Sudan from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. today.

The session will feature a Sudanese person now living in Nebraska who will give an account over a speaker phone of what is taking place now in the African nation that has been beleaguered by a prolonged civil war resulting in enormous loss of life, the displacement of millions and other forms of human suffering. For more, call Lester Collins at (563) 676-5472.
