NAACP requests citizen observer for Trice shooting investigation

The executive board of the Rock Island County NAACP requested a “citizen observer” – a person specifically from the East Moline neighborhood where a gun battle resulted in the death of a robbery suspect and injury to a police officer – be appointed to the task force investigating the incident.
