A 15-year-old male faces multiple charges after an armed home invasion in Park View.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday a male wearing a black hoodie and possibly blue ski mask entered a home at 111 S. Parkview Drive.

The suspect pointed a handgun at the 15-year-old babysitter and other small children in the home and demanded money.

After learning the babysitter had no money, the suspect left on foot.

The juvenile suspect was later apprehended by Scott County deputies and charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree robbery.

The incident remains under investigation.
