AARP driver safety program to be held

The AARP driver safety program, an eight-hour, two-day refresher course that can help attendees understand the effects of aging on driving and how to adjust driving accordingly, will be 12:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, May 7-8 at the Larson Center, Genesis Medical Center-Illini campus, Silvis, Ill.
The course is designed for drivers 50 years and older. The cost is $10. To register, call (309) 792-4385.
A similar program will be offered from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 7 and 8 at Crosstown Square dining room, 900 Crosstown Ave., Silvis, Ill. For more information, call (309) 792-7614
