Ottolin named VP at local TV station

Jim Ottolin has been named vice president/general manager of CBS4 WHBF-TV, Rock Island.

Ottolin is an Illinois native who began his career at the Leo Burnett Co. in Chicago. He most recently served as general manager of WCTI-TV (ABC) in Greenville/New Bern, N.C.

Previously, he served as general manager of WKDY-TV (Fox) in Lexington, Ky., and has held a variety of sales management positions at other television stations and national rep firms.

“It’s great to be back in the Midwest and to have an opportunity to live and work in the Quad-Cities market,” he said. “I’m looking forward to becoming a part of this community and to continuing CBS4’s long tradition of service to it.”
