For the 16th straight year, Campbell Soup Co. will join forces with the National Association of Letter Carriers to Stamp Out Hunger.

The single-day food drive will be Saturday, May 10, this year.

Participants are asked to leave a bag containing non-perishable food items next to the mail-box on collection day.

Letter carriers have collected more than 836 million pounds of food since the drive’s inception in 1993.

The items are donated to food bank members of America’s Second Harvest — The Nation’s Food Bank Network and other hunger relief organizations in more than 10,000 communities.
