The 10th annual Illinois Products Expo Food and Cooking Extravaganza will be June 21-22 in the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
The expo, which typically attracts more than 5,000 people, features free samples of food from Illinois companies. Offerings range from meat products and candy to gourmet seasonings and sauces, and homemade jams and jellies. Products from state wineries and agribusinesses also will be available.
The show traditionally is held the first weekend in March, but it had to be postponed this year because of an electrical problem on the fairgrounds.
The hours for the expo will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $3. Children 10 years and younger will be admitted free of charge.
