BORDERS CROSSING

The Quad-City-based folk band Rose ‘n Thorns will hit the record button Saturday night during its performance at Borders Books, Music & Cafe in Davenport.

The band, which has been together for more than 13 years, will be recording a live album.

Members of the band are guitarist-singer Steve Chesley, rhythm guitarist Lyle Stratton, keyboard-trumpet player Robert Riedesel, bass player Brad Miller, percussion-guitar player Cathy Wetzel and lead guitarist James Wetzel.
