Water education brought to classrooms

Iowa-American Water contracted a touring company, The National Theatre for Children from Minneapolis, Minn., to bring a live theatrical show to 14 area elementary schools in the Iowa Quad-Cities this week and

through May 14.

“Pirates of Never-Land: A Boatload of Trouble” will be presented at Adams, Eisenhower, Harrison, Washington, John F. Kennedy, Wilson, Trinity Lutheran, Hayes, Truman, Marquette Academy, All Saints Catholic, Rivermont Collegiate, McKinley and Fillmore elementary schools in Davenport and Bettendorf.

The National Theatre for Children uses simple sets and audience participation to present information on water, usage tips and pollution

control.
