Feline purrs subliminal political messages

I have just recently become concerned about the potential impact of the cat segment of our society on the upcoming presidential election.

Each morning for the last several months as I am feeding my fish, my cat, Audrey, has stood beside me staring at the fish and going, “brrrrr aach, brrrrr aach, brrrr aach.” This morning, when she turned to look right at me and delivered her morning “brrrrr aach, brrrrr aach, brrrrr aach,” my conscious mind for the first time recognized the subliminal message she has been sending me for months.

If most cats feel as Audrey does about Obama and use the same tactics, what chance do John and Hillary have? Knowing Audrey, I just can’t see her purring “John, John, John,” or “Hillary, Hillary, Hillary” to me in the morning.

John and Hillary had better hope that there isn’t some social issue that has united cats behind Brrrr aach, or they will be in deep litter come convention and election time!
