GO& DO
I made a trip back to my hometown recently and met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while.
We wanted to go and do something where we’d be able to talk and catch up, so a movie was out, dinner wasn’t long enough and we therefore settled on bowling.
We bowled two games and I rolled in the 80s both times. A sad score, I know, but it was pretty good for me. I’m one of those people who lacks hand-eye coordination and am therefore bad at sports that require it. But I still manage to have fun attempting to play.
The conversation was good, the price was reasonable and it’s given me the itch to go bowling again.
However, I’ve only been to one bowling alley in the Quad-City area and it’s a little far to drive to now that I’ve moved, so can anyone recommend a good place on the Iowa side of the Quad-Cities where I can attempt to break 100?
Bowling advice for a novice also would be appreciated.
What other types of entertainment do you, your friends and family pursue in the Quad-Cities that still allow you to talk and have quality time with each other while enjoying a night out?
