Taylor Ridge native appears Saturday on Nickelodeon

Taylor Ridge, Ill., native Shane Partlow has a guest-starring role on Saturday's episode of “iCarly” on the Nickelodeon cable television channel.

He plays Dr. Barry Dorfman in the episode “iFence,” airing at 7 p.m.

Partlow has returned to the Quad-Cities to perform several times over the past few years, including the title role in “The Will Rogers Follies” for the former Ghostlight Theatre, as Will Parker in “Oklahoma!” at Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse in Rock Island and in a touring company of “The Queen of Bingo.”

He is producing the movie “Johnny Got His Gun,” based on the anti-war book by Dalton Trumbo.
