Maine lobsters to be flown in for LobsterFest

Bettendorf Rotary will sell 300 tickets to LobsterFest scheduled for 5:30 to 10 p.m. June 14 on the lawn of Rivermont Collegiate, Bettendorf.
New England lobsters will be flown to the Quad-Cities that day. Tickets for the New England-style dinner of lobster, sausage, vegetable, boiled potatoes, appetizers and desserts are $60.
The meal and silent auction of 120 gifts, event tickets and travel opportunities will benefit an abuse shelter and other charitable projects. Order tickets by sending a check to LobsterFest, c/o Bettendorf Rotary, 3000 E. 32nd St. 6, Davenport, IA 52807. Call (563) 359-5914 for information.
