How dumb can we be on energy?

I have wondered for years what price a gallon of gas would have to reach before Americans would demand that we drill in our own country. North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Anwar in

Alaska, have large pools of oil that could easily and safely be drilled and sold to us. But no, about 11 years ago our Democrats controlled by environmentalists voted to prohibit that. If we had defeated that bill we would be buying our own cheaper oil and gas.

Thanks, guys.

We are in our very late 70s and a small drive in the evenings is no longer affordable. A trip to the grocery is a major cost.

The ethanol you voted for you now hate because corn is no longer grown for as much food.

 How dumb can we be?
