More than 300 area artists will be featured in 20-plus downtown Rock Island venues during Friday’s Gallery Hop in The District of Rock Island, presented by The District and MidCoast Fine Arts.

Liquid Fire owner Mark Fowler, left, will be joined by several other glass blowers at his shop. Quad-City Arts will host “Live Mannequins” by eme designs, in which models will showcase fashions all night. Kids are invited to make their own robots with Corrine Smith at MidCoast Gallery West, while the Quad-City Woodturners will preview their new location, the DeSoto Arts Center, which is under construction.
