Ben Stein thoroughly misrepresents evolution and the scientific community by talking about the two in front of clips of Stalin and Hitler in his anti-evolution movie, “Expelled.” He called

evolution unguided and unchanged, but it has been refined and evolved into different branches of biology.

Stein says evolution doesn’t explain how life started, but that’s the point. Evolution explains how we have descended from our genetic ancestors, not how life originated.

“Expelled” unfairly confuses Social Darwinism and eugenics with evolution, which are completely different ideas. Social Darwinism and eugenics are artificial selection which differs from natural selection.

Eugenics is an already discredited pseudoscience, and Darwin himself condemned Social Darwinism in his groundbreaking book, “Origin of Species.”

Science is accepting of change and new opinions, but science rejects falsehoods, and lies.

Go see “Expelled,” but do your research and get the facts beforehand.
