Midwest Writing Center to train volunteers

Information and pizza will be served for people interested in volunteering at Midwest Writing Center. Sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. May 28 and noon May 31 at 225 E. 2nd St., Suite 303, Davenport.
Volunteers who staff the center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays typically answer the phone, take messages and greet visitors. Contact Kate King at (563) 324-1410 or kking@midwestwritingcenter.org.
