Global Awareness offers cultural services

Global Awareness Consulting, a multi-cultural coaching, training and consulting company located at the NewVentures Center, 331 W. 3rd St., Davenport, is marking its first anniversary.

Jacqueline Tome founded the company in Brazil where she worked for international companies. She moved to the Quad-Cities about six years ago and went into practice as a family therapist. She said she became aware of the need for a business that provides a variety of services, including offering training to people and businesses to be more culturally aware.

Her business will celebrate its one-year anniversary from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
