Mother Nature has dropped a blanket of fog over the area this morning.

Some areas of the Quad-Cities are reporting visibility of a quarter mile or less.

Local law enforcement agencies are reporting no traffic problems at this time due to the fog.

At the Quad-City International Airport in Moline at least three flights have been delayed, according to its Web site.

Visibility will begin to improve around 10 a.m. when the fog begins to lift, the National Weather Service is reporting.

More rain is expected later today in the Q-C region. The weather service is forecasting a 50 percent chance of precipitation today and a 60 percent chance tonight.

Today’s high will be around 80 degrees.
