It was bound to happen. At least one New York hotel has put together a “Sex and the City” getaway package, allowing fans of the TV show and new movie to experience some of the Manhattan sights that were used in filming the series.

For those who’ve dreamed of becoming Carrie Bradshaw for a weekend, the location is a boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan just blocks from the 5th Avenue shops. It’s called Kimpton’s The Muse New York, and the address is 130 W. 46th St., between 6th and 7th avenues.

“We are offering our guests the chance to re-create the TV show’s and movie’s chic Manhattan lifestyle,” says Thomas Mathes, the general manager of the hotel. “It will give fashionable women the chance to become their favorite ‘Sex and the City’ character for a day.”

Here’s what the top-of-the-line suite package includes: “Sinfully spacious accommodations in the hotel’s newly renovated, luxurious suites, a personal driver for a tour of the famous foursome’s hip haunts, including shopping at Jimmy Choo (the famed shoe boutique), snacking on Magnolia cupcakes and sipping cocktails at District.”

The suite will be stocked with the same hair products used to create Carrie’s coifs, and the package will include a one-hour, in-room massage for two, a pair of perfectly mixed cosmopolitans, breakfast in bed for two and a personalized gift tied to the character you like the best.

If it’s Carrie, you get a year’s subscription to Vogue, Elle or Cosmopolitan. If it’s Charlotte, your gift will be a book — “How to Marry a Multimillionaire: The Ultimate Guide to High Net Worth Dating” by Ted Morgan and Serena Worth.

If your choice is Samantha, there’s a bathroom stocked with flirty Dirty Girl bath products, and Miranda fans get the book “Women and Money: Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny” by Suze Orman.

For more information on the hotel package, visit themusehotel.com or call (877) 692-6873.

More about the hotel: The Muse has 200 uniquely styled guestrooms and suites, located in the historic Leavitt Building not too far from Times Square.

Rates range from $399 (for a room with one king-size bed) to $899 a night (for a spa suite with a Jacuzzi). The $609-a-night room sounds particularly nice because it has a balcony (unique for a Manhattan hotel).
