MUSCATINE, Iowa — Second-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy outshot Pleasant Valley 18-7 during its 3-1 victory in the quarterfinals of the Iowa Class 2A state soccer meet.
Kennedy added to its 1-0 lead with two second-half goals.
Pleasant Valley’s lone goal came on a penalty kick by Katy Wendt. The Spartans finish the season 15-3.
