Rockin' kids perform at the RME

Three young rock bands take the stage for the debut of “Third Thursdays: Live From the Courtyard” in the patio area outside the River Music Experience, downtown Davenport.

The Myers Brothers, a duo ages 11 and 7 years from Davenport; Fire Sale (pictured here), four young rockers who just graduated from Sudlow Intermediate School in Davenport; and Sons of Apollo, three-fourths of whom are juniors-to-be at Moline High School, take the stage for the concert Thursday, June 19.

The series continues through September with local, regional and national acts.
