The cleanup of Moline’s River Drive is nearing completion, but the road is not expected to reopen until July.

According to a news release from the City of Moline, construction crews need to make pavement repairs to River Drive because of  flood damage.  River Drive will remain closed from 23rd to 55th streets.

Old River Drive from 53rd to 55th streets also will remain closed. Access is available to the Captain’s Table and the Celebration Belle.

It is anticipated that River Drive will reopen by the end of the day July 11, or as soon as repairs are complete.

Also, Ben Butterworth Parkway and trail remain closed for cleanup.

Because of  Rock River flooding, the following Moline streets remain closed:

• 60th Street South of Greenvalley Park

• North Shore Drive between 16th to 26th streets

• South Shore Drive, both east and west of 27th Street

In addition, the following Moline parks are closed due to flooding:

• Harold’s Landing

• Old Green Valley Park

• Veteran’s Park
