"Spin: The Science of Rotation" at the Family Museum

The Family Museum in Bettendorf is inviting visitors to give science a whirl in a new exhibit opening June 14.
“Spin: The Science of Rotation,” looks at the science behind spinning toys, sports, transportation, space travel, entertainment and even the universe itself.
The 15 areas in the exhibit include a human centrifuge, competition between rolling objects and a laser light show.
Developed by the Health Adventure in Asheville, N.C., the exhibit continues through late September.
