A bit of the Grateful Dead comes to the Rock Island Brewing Co. on Saturday night, June 14.
Chicago-based jam band Terrapin Flyer, which includes Tom Constanten (left), keyboard player for the Dead from 1968-70, makes its first appearance at Ribco. Constanten will perform a solo set to start the show, followed by two sets of 1960s-era Grateful Dead music.
Terrapin Flyer has been performing Grateful Dead-inspired music for the past eight years, including current and former members of The Dark Star Orchestra, Cornmeal, Jack Straw and other Chicago musicians.
