Stroke survivors thank QCA

As members of the Genesis Stroke Support Group, we wish to thank the CASI and Genesis staff members who made the luncheon at CASI on May 2 in honor of our 10th anniversary of the Stroke Prevention and Recovery Center such a huge success. Dr. Conway Chin’s presentation was very helpful. It was special to honor how the city of Davenport, Red Hawk Golf Course staff and Western Illinois Therapeutic Recreation students work with us.

We, as stroke survivors, struggle to be heard. To us, it seems that living successfully seems to be avoided a lot in the press.

Please let it be known though, through this letter that we wish to express to the greater Quad-City community our appreciation of their support.
