The former treasurer of the Buffalo, Iowa, Ambulance is accused of stealing from the organization, court documents say.
Chad Harris, 30, 629 3rd St., is charged with first-degree theft, accused of stealing $72,834. He used a company credit card to pay personal debts, paid extra money toward his salary and wrote checks to pay credit card bills, documents say.
Harris admitted to stealing the money, officials said. He has paid back $62,000. He was treasurer from 2005-2007.
