No place in Times for tabloid material

The July 9 paper carried a lengthy article concerning Lara Logan, a CBS reporter. (“Coverage of messy divorce ensnares CBS reporter with ties to Quad-Cities”)

This is the sort of news that should not be published by the Times.

This is the sort of article that is covered by the so-called scandal reporting the vital goings on of the Spears and Hilton sisters, etc. It certainly is not the need to know by general publications.

Lara Logan and her carryings-on with another woman’s husband should be hidden deep in her conscience.

Shame on this newspaper for publishing such smut.
