Fair is worth a bit of parking inconvenience

The Mississippi Valley Fair is just around the corner and many good people will be in our area looking for parking. I find it hard to believe that my neighbors can’t put up with six days of inconvenience for the good of Davenport.

My neighbors have never paid one dime of my taxes but feel it’s their right to say I or my friends can’t park in front of my house. To all who complain about the fair I say move. The fair was here in the 1920s and that’s a lot more than 30 years.
