Red Cross opens another shelter in Illinois

The American Red Cross of the Quad-Cities Area opened another shelter in Milan, in addition to previously announced shelters in  Silvis and Port Byron in Illinois.

The shelters are at:

- Eagle Ridge School, 2002 Eagle Ridge Drive, Silvis, Ill.

- Riverdale Middle School, 9624 256th St. North, Port Byron, Ill.

- Milan Community Center, 2701 E. 1st St., Milan, Ill.

In addition, the Red Cross delivered 25 cots to a shelter located at the Sherrard Fire Station, 101 E. 1st St., Sherrard, Ill.

Families seeking shelter are asked to bring bedding and necessary medications with them to the shelter.
