1 P.M. UPDATE Some 12,224 Quad-City area MidAmerican Energy customers remain without power including 3,985 in Moline, 4,799 in Rock Island, according to MidAmerican’s Web site.

9:45 P.M. UPDATE Some 20,346 Quad-City area MidAmerican Energy customers remain without power  including 6,203 in Moline, 8,066 in Rock Island and 2,189 in Rock Island County, according to MidAmerican’s Web site.

1 P.M. UPDATE Some 26,384 Quad-City area MidAmerican Energy customers remain without power at 1 p.m. including 8,901 in Moline, 10,169 in Rock Island and 2,314 in Rock Island County, according to MidAmerican’s Web site.

NOON UPDATE Some 26,697 Quad-City area MidAmerican Energy customers remain without power at noon including 8,916 in Moline, 10,429 in Rock Island and 2,189 in Rock Island County, according to MidAmerican’s Web site.

9 A.M. UPDATE Some 27,986 Quad-City area MidAmerican Energy customers remain without power at of 9 a.m. this morning including 8,553 in Moline, 10,491 in Rock Island and 3,508 in Rock Island County, according to MidAmerican’s Web site.



8 A.M. UPDATE Some 27,467 Quad-City area MidAmerican Energy customers remain without power at of 8 a.m. this morning including 8,501 in Moline, 10,431 in Rock Island and 3,694 in Rock Island County, according to MidAmerican’s Web site.

Crews from numerous states are assisting in replacing broken poles, restringing power lines and restoring power.

Most MidAmerican customers in the Illinois Quad-Cities should have power restored by late tonight. Most Iowa customers were expected to have power restored by early today, according to MidAmerican.
