Just after 7 a.m., a band called Tennessee-Wilde was setting up on Middle Road east of Jersey Ridge Road. Tony “East Tennessee” Cavitt and Greg Wilde are going to be playing everything from blues to country music. They were out early despite a show they played last night. “It’s a lot of fun. We had a gig last night, got to bed at 3 in the morning. You have to love it to do it.” This is the first time they’ve played the Quad-City Times Bix 7.

Down the street near Jersey Ridge Road, folks were setting up for breakfast. Jim Allen is the home owner but hasn’t been home for his own party the past couple of years. “He’s the host of the party, and he has never been here,” Sonda Reinartz said.
