Outage update: Less than 1,000 in Q-C without power this morning

MidAmerican Energy crews made major progress overnight in restoring power to thousands of customers.
As of 10 p.m. Friday, 7,184 customers still did not have electricity following Monday’s storm, but the company’s Web site reported that 930 customers in the Quad-Cities did not have power.
The bulk of those customers were in Rock Island, where 645 still did not have electricity. Moline had 192 customers without power, and the next highest number was 29 in rural Rock Island County.
