Leadership Development Institute announced

Leaders in nonprofit organizations, social service agencies and lay or ordained congregational leaders are invited to a series of 11 workshops and individual mentoring sessions organized by Marriage and Family Counseling Service, Rock Island. Workshops will begin in September.

Participants will receive leadership certification and licensed social workers, counselors and family and marriage therapists can earn continuing education credits. Scholarships, supporting up to 60 percent of tuition costs, are being provided by Hunt and Diane Harris Family Foundation, Riverboat Development Authority and Doris and Victor Day Foundation.
