Man arrested in Whiteside County

Whiteside County authorities arrested Brandon W. Adams, 18, of Tampico, Ill., on suspicion of stealing a vehicle late last night.
At 8:50 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of Moline and Troy Road in a rural part of the county. Adams was arrested after fleeing the vehicle, and was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, driving while his license was revoked and resisting arrest.
He was transferred to Whiteside County Jail pending a court appearance.
