Final registration nears for local colleges

As the first day of college classes approach, area colleges are encouraging students to get information, visit with advisers and complete registration.
Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges have scheduled 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 16 and 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 19 to help new students register for classes. Enrollment sessions will be held at three college campuses, Kahl Education Center, 326 W. 3rd St., Davenport, and Blong Technology Center, 8500 Hillandale Road, Davenport. Those unable to attend may call (888) 336-3907 for an appointment.
Black Hawk College will help students with last-minute registrations Monday through Aug. 21 and encourages new and returning students who have not registered to see an adviser. The fall class schedule is available online at www.bhc.edu. New students can begin the registration process at www.bhc.edu/register.
