Boy on bicycle hit by car, injured

A boy riding his bicycle in the intersection of 4th and Division streets in Davenport was struck by a car at 1:30 p.m. today.
The boy was taken to Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme Street with non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition, police said.
The driver was not ticketed. Police said the boy darted into traffic on his bicycle.
