RI seeks friendly neighbor nominations

Good Neighbor Award nominations are being accepted by Rock Island through 5 p.m. Aug. 29. Nominees who assisted with yard or neighborhood storm cleanup or provided extra effort to help a neighborhood return to normal will be recognized at a future City Council meeting. Submit nominations with a brief description of why your neighbor deserves recognition to Planning and Redevelopment Department, 1528 3rd Ave., Rock Island, or e-mail
