Davenport church supports sexual purity

Our church would like to express our concern for your approval of the rally of the gay community or any rally that might separate people by their sexual preferences or any other preferences there might be.
Every time we have a rally of this magnitude promoting people’s preferences, we disregard the freedom of our whole community. We then make a separation of human beings into preferences: heterosexual, homosexual, gay and straight. Thus the emotional wars begin. People get hurt and freedom is taken away from both sides of this issue or any other issue.
As a community, our goal should be to have the ability to work together side by side to accomplish the greater sense of worth. Our differences can and should be dealt with on a much more personal level.
As a church in the Quad-Cities, we stand up for sexual purity because we believe that is what God has taught from the very beginning. We encourage the leadership of our community not to take part in any kind of rally that separates human beings and promotes discord.
