911 service out in parts of Scott County

Some areas of Scott County will be without 911 service for a brief time early Wednesday as Central Scott Telephone Co. does upgrades for its customers.
The outage will last about 15 minutes beginning at midnight.
It will affect customers with the prefixes of 285, 225 and 282, who will not be able to call 911 during the 15-minute update. If an emergency occurs during the outage, Central Scott Telephone customers should call the Scott County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Dispatch
Center at (563) 326-8628 for assistance.
