Good morning, Quad-Cities to another foggy morning. At 6 a.m. it’s 64 degrees. For your morning commute expect patchy fog with visibilities of a half mile or less especially in river valleys and other low lying areas until 9 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 85 degrees. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Bettendorf is joining other law agencies across Iowa and Illinois in the “Over the Limit, Under Arrest” enforcement effort as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) initiative and the special Traffic Enforcement Program (sTEP). Bettendorf police will have heightened enforcement from August 18-31.
